The mission of our Parents, Teachers and Volunteers is to support and strengthen the highest quality education of children at J. R. Irvin Elementary by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers; promoting a sense of support, pride and enthusiasm at J. R. Irvin elementary.

The J. R. Irvin PTV was able to achieve many of our goals last year, such as:

• Purchased technology to aid the teachers in enhancing the learning experience for the students
• Helped purchase a a quarter mile fitness track
• Sponsored special events such as book fairs, student programs and assemblies, host a holiday cart, grandparent night, carnival, February dance, field day and teacher appreciation events and luncheons just to name a few!

When you join, you will not only be supporting your child's school, you will also be helping your child and their class earn special treats. The class with the highest participation per grade level will receive a popcorn party.

Volunteers are essential to th0e success of our students and staff. We welcome and encourage any and all family members to get involved in our children's education and events.
